Wow!!! I can’t believe we have been in school for over a month now. The class is great, we have 25 students and they are all eager to work hard. We just finished Johnny Appleseed week. We counted seeds, stamped apples and even tasted some apples. It is now October and we are getting ready for Columbus Day, fire prevention week and of course, Halloween! We also have Grandparent’s Day coming and I can’t wait to meet all of the grandma’s and grandpa’s I hear so much about.

In the weeks to come we will be working on writing upper and lower case letters, learning the sounds they make and practicing the high frequency words over and over again.

I’m excited to be teaching your children, I have a feeling it is going to be a great year!!!!
